Cancer-versary

Tomorrow is Casey's Cancer-versary. That's right. October 16 is the day that he learned he had cancer. To those who have been reading since the beginning, that was the day he got the results of the first chest x-ray, which showed a big mass. Last year, on October 16, Casey told me he had cancer without first telling me to get off the elliptical machine (was it a treadmill??). That night, we thought the walls were crumbling down around us. But they didn't. I'm not going to cry tonight because we are still celebrating our great news from the 6 month scan. Tonight, all I will say is we have learned so much in this past year. And we have really cherished having so many wonderful friends and family members caring for us and praying for us. Thanks for keeping up with this blog this year.
