Hey all! Again, nothing too crucial to report regarding Casey and his treatment. Its hard to believe chemo is almost completely over. We had a wonderful weekend, despite the disappointments with Carolina and the Packers. But it was almost a normal weekend, like a pre-cancer weekend. We went out, we saw friends, we had a few drinks, and really had a normal weekend. Casey was a trooper-and it was great to have some fun together.
We definitely enjoyed our day off- we had lunch with friends, did some shopping, and caught Kite Runner. I even convinced him to spend the night with me, so we had some yummy Indian takeout while watching the debate. It was really wonderful to spend 5 days in a row together, and I am almost selfishly looking forward to radiation because it means Casey will have to spend so much time in Manhattan.
Anyway, big day for me at work tomorrow, so its time to watch SVU in bed and then go straight to sleep. Casey is feeling great, and nearly burnt down his apartment while frying up some chicken cutlets. I'll be sure to post again soon- Its such a relief not to have to post about anything too heavy!
